On July 17th, 2003 at 1 a.m. while working a vehicle accident, I was struck by a drunk driver. I lost everything I had. My wife left, as 1 year of watching me have seizures and not get better was too much for her. My home was gone, all my savings spent, and my business sold and that spent to cover what insurance did not. 21 operations over 7 years and I returned to work only to prepare to retire on my terms and not that of a drunk driver. The drunk had only 20k insurance and she was 19. In court we settled for a lump sum for life. This was not enough but it got me a new small home paid for and that was enough, as when you lose all you become humble and need only what is important. Through my faith in Christ I was able to have a second chance to do his work. God bless you who have been impacted by any sadness, injury or loss.
This was my web domain. I used it to advocate for victims of drunk drivers during my rehab. I am glad after I let it go it has gone to good use. Keep up the good work.
